


Drum Sound Healing Course (one day) Richmond
This one day course is an opportunity to spend a day immersed in learning and playing the buffalo drum with Chetna on a one to one basis.
This is an intensive and very practical day of playing the buffalo drum and learning the different techniques that can be used for sound healing including journeying with the drum and toning/chanting.
A buffalo drum will be available to play along with a rattles and other accompanying instruments.
You will receive one to one advice from Chetna and a full in-person demonstration.
There will be plenty of time for you to practice the techniques so that you can flow into your own unique style with confidence. You will also be shown how to cleanse and attune your drum to your own vibration.
You will also receive a Drum Journey by Chetna during this session to demonstrate the range of drum beats that can be achieved by using different playing techniques and how to use the drum for journeying.
This course is designed as an introduction for those that are interested in playing the drum for sound healing, creative expression and mindfulness. It is perfect for those that may be interested in drumming but have not had an opportunity to play before.
Chetna is an experienced sound healing practitioner and regularly runs gong baths, drum journeys and other events.
Duration: 11am - 4pm
